Open Position in Bernstein

Position: Director, IT Projects.
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages large-scale projects, related to applications for consulting and/or maintenance in terms of scope, planning and implementation of IT and software projects in the field of cloud-based facility and property management systems;
  • Manages the execution, ensuring delivery of projects within budget and on time;
  • Responsible for the scope, plan and expectations of customers in relation to a project and/or maintenance application;
  • To liaise directly with client/ business stakeholders to understand, analyze and support in the documentation of the process requirements, proposes and identifies solutions.
  • Recommends and proposes new systems/functionalities to support business objectives achievement.
  • Liaise with Development and Testing teams to ensure that all documented specifications are clearly understood.
  • Works closely with the technical teams and business stakeholders to prepare clear business objectives.
  • Contribute to new systems integration and ensure that their quality meets business requirements.
  • Reviews business analyst deliverables and activities to ensure compliance with analysis and design processes and standards.
  • Contributes to quality of projects implementation by undertaking initial validation of developed product prior to formal testing.

  • Main requirements:

  • At least 8 years of combined expertise in strategic information projects including design, development and implementation for companies developing cloud-based software for facility and property management – Strata Title, IoT Remote Monitoring and Integration Services applications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Operations Director with in-depth knowledge in the field of Property and Facility management in some of the main operating markets of the company - Asia, Africa, Australia and Oceania.
  • A serious advantage will be deep understanding and expertise in the implementation of technology, procedures and education for the “Law 27”- often referred to as the “Strata Law”.
  • Advanced skills in the use analytical and communication systems and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Quality orientation and attention to detail.
  • Expert level of understanding of “Strata Title” legislation concepts, and their software based implementation in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, and other jurisdictions outside Europe.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Team management experience in multi-national environment.
  • English language skills – C2 as per the Common European language framework.
